ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Benjamin Pezzillo is the founder of Pactriglo, a boutique spatial analysis firm based in Beverly Hills, California and has catered to real estate developers and investors since 2016. In 2021, PropTech Magazine named Pactriglo to its annual list of 10 Top Real Estate Analytics Solution Providers at the forefront of transforming business. Last year, Pactriglo received copyright status for its Almanac of Urban Infill in the Western United States.
Ben co-authored a paper about data architecture and data engineering along with a professor in the College of Business and Economics at the California State University in Los Angeles. The project used spatial analysis software to identify the gaps in Electric Vehicle Charging Station Distribution. The paper will be published at the 13th International Conference on Smart Grids in Barcelona. In 2019, Mr. Pezzillo presented his work on real estate geospatial data, “Mapping the Invisible: Using Big Data, Geofiles, and GPU-power to Find Places to Build More Dwelling Units in Los Angeles” at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
Ben volunteers as a member of the City of Los Angeles' Traffic Enforcement Alternatives Advisory Task Force and its Research Subcommittee. He has a degree in communications from Syracuse University and lives in Los Angeles.
